*DOH* Slow B16 CRX times... Help diagnose :)
Car Info:
*The good*
91 CRX Si
B16a 1st gen
y1 with LSD
Generic intake
Magnaflow exhaust
Chipped ecu (pr3) spoon program (4800 vtec x-over)
15'' slip on yokohoma avs es 100's
*The bad*
Custom Wood rear interior (kinda heavy, will be removed soon!)
2 amps
1 10'' sub with wood box
FULL INTERIOR including my fat 190lb butt
Now for the times
RT - 1.026
60ft - 2.385
330ft - 6.692
1/8 - 10.191@70MPH
1/4 - 15.631@89.82MPH
This is using the spoon ecu (i tried both stock and this) and launching at 5krpms and shifting at 8100.
I know that the y1 isnt the best tranny to use for the 1/4 compared to the j1 and s1 due to the closer gear ration. But, correct me if i'm wrong, shouldn't I be closer to low 15's and high 14's?
This was also at graway 42 in West Salem, Ohio. Temp. was 45 degrees.

I run 14.4's all motor with a JDM B16a with i/h/e and act clutch lauching at 4800 rpm and shifting at 7800 so it seems a little slow but take out the extra weight, lower tire pressure if you didn't and practice to get those 60fts. down and it will help!! Good luck
damn! 2.3 60 fts? you need to work on your launch my son. What RPM are you launching at? Are just dropping the clutch or do you feather the clutch slightly.
wheelspin is your enemy, lower your tire pressure (make sure you can fill back up before you leave the track) and you should see some better times.
