help ... momo horn install
On EG's, the horn is wack...
it's actually on the black ribbon cable and I believe it's the copper spline to the far right (looking directly at it).
Take a wire and ground it, and expose all of the copper splines, put the grounded wire on each one of them, and one of them will ground and sound the horn. Simpl solder onto that copper spline and yer done.

is this the black ribbon cable with a yellow plug?
so ur saying bolt awire to the car and test the wire in each 1 of the holes, until it works?
isnt the button already grounding inside the wheel ? i saw on a del sol it had a horn shoe and it was taped to some wire under the dash which is different on the eg
im not quite understanding this fully yet

The horn wire runs in the same ribbons as the airbag wires. You'll have to unplug and remove the spool from the hub. The wires runs on the underside of the steering column in the yellow splitloom. I think the horn wire is the second from the right in the ribbon. My car had cruise on it and it is in the same harness too. If yours doesn't have cruise, the wire location may be different. If your doing a wheel, I guess you've already done away with both air bags so it wont hurt to mess around with the wires in that harness. Like the first response to your post says, touch a grounded wire to the suspected horn wire and it will blow the horn if its the right one. To make it work with the button on the wheel, you will have to rig a contact like is on a non-airbag car. I found a "how-to" on the web where the guy made one from a light welding rod and some copper braid. I made mine from a little strip of brass. The wiper has to be hooked to the horn wire and the other wire on the wheel grounded to the steering shaft assembly inside the wheel. Hope I helped.
