Default 1way valve on a FPR vacuum line?

Hey i'm new on here so take an easy on me... this is what i go... Bubble back with USDM GSR, I/E, 65shot Dry ZEX.

So heres the question.. I bought the car with the swap already and this is the weird thing.. on the vacuum line that goes from the FPR to the intake, there was a 1 way valve Tee'ed into the line... I dont know why??? and when i installed the ZEX dry kit I removed the 1way valve because with the zex kit u have to have a vacuum line from the FPR into the ZEX "brain" and out to the intake...

is that 1 way valve there for any reason? i mean does it do anything?

also ideling is at 1300-1400RPM and the CEL on for Coolent Temp. sensor. I got the CTS, just didnt have time to install it yet.. but is the high idel because of the CTS? or is it something else???

Please let me know...
Thanks...

I don't think that check valve is supposed to be there. My GS-R doesn't have one. Which way is it oriented? You want your fuel pressure to track your manifold pressure, & the check valve prevents it from doing that.

CTS can cause your high idle. Other things can cause it, too. After you put in your new CTS you'll know...
