why does my cd player turn on when i turn my lights on

Default why does my cd player turn on when i turn my lights on

ive hooked up my cd player and i couldnt hear anything...i was just ****** around and turned my lights on then i heard it. But also, when the car is completely off, I turn the lights on and my cd player turns on. how the hell do i fix that

wire it correctly...sounds like the red wire or switched wire is connected to your lights instead of ignition....

your illumination wire got switched with your battery wire, look in your instructions and see if you got the colors wrong, or you can just do what I did and wire the illumination and battery together and then to the ignition. Or hell, just wire everything to the constant, lol, sound when the car's off or sound when the car's on . Anywho, just a simple wiring mistake, no biggie
