Make sure you use their Techron Concentrate and not their Fuel Injector cleaner. I've used the Techron Concentrate and found it to be a good product.
Another product you may want to look at is Schaeffers Neutra 131. I've just switched to this product because I can by it by the gallon and its cheaper than the Techron Concentrate.

BG 44k is a good product and is a very strong cleaner. With that said, you shouldn't use BG 44k more than twice a year and it is recommended that you change your oil fairly soon after running the product.
I prefer Neutra 131 because it cheaper ($13/gal) and can be used in maintenance dosages. It also provides upper cylinder lubrication that other products don't offer.

The reason people recommend changing the oil after use is because BG44K is a strong cleaner. As a result there may be a lot of carbon and other deposits that could end up in the oil. The recommended interval for use with BG44k is roughly every 10-15K miles.
