help me plea!!!
hey wassup guyz i hope this is in the right forum.. umm here's my situation.. i have a jdm d15b vtec motor with a cx tranny and cx wiring harness.. and i have a one wire o2 sensor. how do i wire up vtec? i tried puttin a four wire o2 but there is no plug in the harness for it. i am gettin a p08 ecu soon.. my friend said just chip my cx ecu and get a vtec controller. can u guyz help me? what to do to wire up vtec? cuz my car not runnin to well with the cx ecu.. or should i chip my dx ecu? cuz i have a dx ecu also.. any help will be appreciated.. want to run my car already

I would recommend running a P28 ECU for the D16Z6 motor..
As for wiring VTEC. What year Civic do you have? And what wiring harness are you using for the D15B motor?

how bout a p08 ecu? is that ok to use? im using a 92-95 sohc cx wiring harness.

If I remember right, the P08 ECU is the D15B factory ECU correct? If that is the case, it will run just fine.
As for using the CX wiring harness, wiring for VTEC you need to wire from the VTEC solenoid to the A4 pinout at the ECU.
VTEC pressure sensor from the sensor to the D6 pinout. And VTEC pressure ground to the thermostat housing ground held on by a 10mm bolt. This is the engine harness ground.
As for using the CX wiring harness, wiring for VTEC you need to wire from the VTEC solenoid to the A4 pinout at the ECU.

my vtec solenoid only has teh clip umm it doesnt have the other side of the clip.. do i just tap it to the pin in the clip?
