My car goes slower when more then 3 people are in the car
my ex 97 civic.. 5spd.. goes slower when i have more then 3 people in the car... idk why.. but my other friends can handle weight they all have vw.. 1.8's and 2.0's gti's .. and when i have nobody in the car my car flys... what could i do the prevent that...
it is just the power to weight ratio ....
more weight .. same power output .....
less power for each unit of weight .....
that y so many lightweight stuff is on the market ... carbon hood .. etc etc ...
less weight ... = better .....
handle .. accel .. brake .. better .....
ways to prevent it ....
take out the rear seat so noone could ride in ur car ....except u and a frd
works great for me ...

Think of it this way. if you have to run down your street, is it easier to run with nothing in your hands or to have 25lb weights in both of them?
Get skinnier friends.
Or only hang out with asian chicks!!

yea... just get rid of the chunky friends! jk
and asian girls are always good considering they weigh nothing
(jk once again)
Plus you will look pimp as hell with 3 hot asian women in the car with you.
And they combined will only way as much as one of your friends.
Its a win win situation

Actually it's really torque, no so much hp. The 1.8 and 2.0L VW's both make more than 107lbs, and when it comes to hauling weight, torque is where it's at. Case in point, ever driven an Si with 3 or 4 people in the car? I've gotten my *** handed to me by EX's while I had 3 people in my GS-R, why? Cause I only make 10 more lbs of torque and the extra 280-300lbs is more than enough to make my torqueless wonder strain! To the oppostie end of the spectrum, I've been in my friend's Jetta VR6 with 4 people in there, punch it and it still snaps you neck back, 176lbs of torque will do that to ya

you could pile your chunky friends in the hatch area and try and create that problem. If you were bored or what not.
Just an idea
