Default 150,000 miles......still ok to go boost or not??

heres the lowdown....i have a 90 accord ex, auto, with just over 150xxx miles on it and still runs strong as the day i got with only 75000 miles. Anyways, im looking into running boost on it, but, my mileage seems a little high for it. Is there anything i can do like compression test, leakdown test, and other things to insure the engine is still good, cuz it has never been run hard and doesnt leak/burn oil and has had regular maintenence. Also, i look to only run 5-7 psi cuz this car will be daily driven to work and school and some weekend things i normally do......any advice, comments, etc. is welcome......thanks........

advice=ditch the auto

just boost it, who cares. Our motors are worth less than $500 anyways.

Just do a compression and leakdown test. If all looks good then go for it. I would change all my belts and pumps before I do it.

honestly don't spent any money on repairing the motor with that many miles. Just boost then buy a new one in the future. trying to replace **** is gonna cost as much as a new f22/23.

i would buy a used F22 or F23 with low mileage and build that and do all the custom turbo work then. then you just swap it in and do the rest of it. that way you have a lower mileage motor, less downtime, and you can buildup the internals too.

Perform a simple compression test.. its easy to do.. and see if they are equally running strong.. check factory specs.. if all is good than go for it...
