DIY Ground Kit for Civic... any diagrams?
I'm interested in making my own ground kit for my 99 Civic Si. I just need to know where are all the ground wires in my car so I can replace them with the upgraded wires. Thanks for the help.
if you really feel it is necessary, just look at your engine bay, and replace the current ground wires with newer ones. there's a great pic in the helms manual that shows where they all are, but they're pretty easy to spot just by looking.
personally i wouldn't bother.
Just replace the stock ground straps with new stock ones
32601-S10-000 CABLE ASSY., TRANSMISSION GROUND $7.74 this is the tranny ground strap
32610-SR3-960 CABLE, SUB-GROUND $5.78 this is the one that goes fom the driver's side radiator support near the headlight to the cylinderhead/valvecover area
32600-S04-A02 CABLE ASSY., BATTERY GROUND $25.41 this is the negative battery cable
These are the only ground straps on a 99-00 Si, and all three are less then $50
