I was working on my car yesterday replacing some grounding wires when I noticed the main cable from the negative terminal on the battery, goes straight down but then its cutt off and not attached to anything. Does anyone know where this wire is supposed to be attatched?

I know of 2 grounds on the car right now, battery to chassis
Engine to Chassis

am I missing one?

 

should just be those 2

 

doesnt matter where u run that ground to as long its grounded good to a bare spot of metal which means sand the paint off where ur going to mount that ground to

I do have another ground done properly.
I just wasn't sure if another cable needed to run to the tranny

 

The large ground coming off the negative terminal connects to the tranny on my lude.
It also has a smaller cable which attachs to the chassis.

 

The smaller one is the ground I replaced.
Any chance you'd be able to provide me with a picture of where and how it connects on the tranny

 

dont mind the red circles. I just did that for a friend, last time I had to explain him something.
