I'm losing water!!! Where is this coming from??? Movie & Pic
I'm think it is the water pump but would like a second opinion before i start to unbolt things. Is the waterpump an easy replacement on a d series? I know i can figure it out but does someone have a how to and will the crank pully need to be removed? I'm trying to sell the car and need to get this fixed asap.

water pumps leak and squeel like hell when they die. just replace it. cheap insurance.
i didnt, cost me 16 valves and a timing belt. all said and done, $900 for what woulda cost $70.
belt skipped a few teeth, motor seized belt snapped, lost the valves.

looks like your water pump gasket is going bad but before replacing it I suggust check the water pump and it's surrounding area just to be sure. you don't want to replace something you do need to.

Just how fast the water is dripping. It is to dark to see anything else. Thanks for the info. I'll see if i can just remove the timing cover and have a look at it.

Yea, but i fugured it was dripping from the water pump and down to where the crank is. The pic dosn't show the source, only where it is dripping from the car.

it's your water pump it comes out of the 'weep' hole when its dying and drips right there @ the crank by the oil pan. You might as well do you timing belt while it's off b/c it needs to be removed to change the pump. it's a hard job, but doable. I did it.
same thing happened on a budy's car....water pump gasket was nasty. Replaced, and all was good.
And it was a 30 minute job
