i have 91 dx, i tried starting it today after 4 months and it did not crank over, the alternator was sized and i was able to free it up. i even tried boosting it and no luck and it has gas. will try bump starting to see if the starter is shot any other suggestions would be appriciated

put it in neutral and try to turn it over by hand. 17mm socket/wrench and turn it counterclockwise when looking at the cam gear...

see if you can turn it over, it shouldnt be that hard even with the spark plugs in. you should be able to get it from inside the engine bay...no need to jack car up and do it from the wheel well.

 

battery has power even tried jumping did not work (fastcrxsi90) that`s the crank pully the one the alternator is hooked up to or is it the light grey cover on the right side of the engine. cheers

 

Check to make sure you have fuel, and spark. Possible ignition probs or main relay related. Do a search if you are unsure how to check for those. There is a lot of info about them.
