Yellow lights on ITR
I was searching ebay for an oem 98' spec type r front lip spoiler, and I came across item #2438537405. In there is a pic of an ITR with yellow headlights. I was wondering if anyone knew what these where? and what purpose they serve? I thought they might be city lights or somthing. Also if anyone knows where I might be able to get some please let me know.
I also have a question about my canadain spec integra. When I turn the car on my day time running lights automaticly come on. Then I turn the light switch once and my corner lights come on. When I turn my lights all the way on they are my night time lights ex. pull back for brights pull back again to switch back to dims. My question is what the hell is the use of this first turn that only brings my corner lights on? Could I possibly put these yellow lights that i talked about in the first paragraph in there to use as city lights? Any info on these topics would be a great help. Thanks.

I think it's just the color balance of the photograph causing the stock headlights to appear yellowish. If you are really interested in yellow headlights (which are not legal for street use) you could try these.
As for the first "click" on the light switch and the purpose of parking lights, read this.

Good info.. I never knew the "historical significance" between the lights.

I haven't seen the photo your talking about.... But HEAPs (nearly all) of the cars in France have yellow lens. I believe it's because of FOG.
I thought the frogs where just trying to be abit different. hehe.

If I was to install those yellow lights on my integra, do you know if I could install them to ingauge on the first click, then on the second click have my normal high and low beams? Or would the yellow bulbs actually replace my high beams? I am trying to figure out a lighting system where I have normal lights but can switch to these yellow lights in fog or rain. I could just get fog lights I know, but if I can figure out how to work this system effectively I would rather that. Plus it would just be cool as hell.

I think they used to, but not anymore. When I was there in '96 it was the weirdest thing... you can't see the road with everyone blasting their yellow headlights.
