Default "swoosh" noise when shifting??

i have a 95' civic coupe DX...and i've noticed that when i drive slow, and shift into a different gear, i can hear somthing under the hood go "swoosh" it's not that loud, but it's noticable, kind of like a B.O.V. but a softer noise...anyone know what is causing this problem, and does it affect anything? it actually sounds kind of cool, but i'm not sure if it's doing any damage...AND, also...i was driving on the freeway couple weeks ago, and accidently ran over an empty 1 gallon milk carton..and ever since...when i turn left at a slow speed, i can hear a "cluck cluck" noise in my front suspension(right side)...anyone know what is causing this? i tried taking off the rims and taking a look, but i can't find anything wrong...

swoosh noise must be your mad shaolin shifting skills, just kidding, my tranny does it too. the only thing that I can assume it to be is the mainshaft spinning when you disengage the clutch. as for the clunk clucking... it is probably your axle...

Do you have an intake on your car that is what the first noise could be and for the second one you probably ahave that milk carton under there

It's the intake. If in doubt, put your stock airbox back on and see if it goes away.
