Nope...just the OBD1 ECU and adaptor.

will the SRS system still work ?
Yes, independent of the ECU.

what about the security coded key system ??
Yes, independent also.

No.

the coded key wont work...thats built into the ECU

well, your key will work fine...but its not going to be protected like it was...the coded key will be useless

but then again ..

bring the obd1 ecu +adapter when i need the power ..(track day )

and put in the the obdII ecu when i need the security ( in town )

that's the good point of it if it's as PNP as u are telling me

When you said key code I thought you were talking about keyless entry....what honda has a coded key?

My Hondata Stage 3 with OBD1 conversion should arrive this week. It is plug n play.

They call it an immobilizer system- it reads a chip in the key and then the ecu enables fuel relay. The ecu stores key information. The ignition switch has a transceiver in it that powers the key and reads it.

is it really worth it to change your car from OBDII to OBDI? I've seen alot of OBDII equipped integras wipe out OBDI integras...Of course with different mods, but the b18c1 still responds very well to mods even with obdII.

as for your security with the key code and whatnot... any amateur thief will have an ecu with the code disenabled and just plug it in... the code in actuality is worthless imo
