The mounting base. It's a little different between the 2 cars.

 

yup, it's different. i tried to do the reverse and install EG mirrors on my EK. i found out that without some major drilling the two are not compatible. the 3 EG base bolts didn't line up with my EK holes in the door frame, so i would have to drill 3 new holes for the mirrors to bolt up. another problem that i ran into was since the 2 mirrors were both manual with adjusting arms, the hole in my door frame didn't match up for the arm anymore. so in order for the EG mirror arm to fit through the door frame and be functional, you need to drill out a larger hole. in the end i didn't feel it was worth it and ended up holding off on my mirror swap. hope this helps even though your going for the opposite install

yep, they look dumb on 5th gens

 

They're different, you'll need to modify.

Those mirrors are ugly in my opinion and would never ever put them on a 92-95.

 

yes they WILL work have personally seen them on two cars.....

YES they do look dumb.....save the trouble and get the spoon knock offs....or something else
