Default RSB is sick! ....I want to make sure....clunking/clicking/POPING noise ....

Okay guys i think i narrowed it down to a bad axle.

its a clunking noise (what ever that is ) or more like a poping noise

This only happens when I start to accelerate and when i hit the brakes rather hard it clunks or pops on the driver side.

So i lifted up the car to see if i had any broken cv boots but didnt find any, so as the car is lifted i turn it on and give it some gas...i dont hear anynoise
so to me that elimates the tranny making a noise cuz if somehting were broken in there it should still make a noise right?

So it only makes this noise while under load or pressure AKA stopping or going but it doesnt continue to make it...just upon acceleration and stopping.

So what do you guys think is this a for sure BAD AXLE?

let me know thanx

EDIT Damn punks....i had to add a pic to make you guys look at the post

A bad axle will usually do one of these things:

1. Click while turning if it's a bad outer joint (usually boot will be torn to **** though)

2. Vibration upon acceleration if it's a bad inner joint

What you're describing doesn't point to axle so surely IMO. Perhaps check your upper and lower balljoints for play.

Take a prybar and pry on the lower balljoints to see if they have any play in them.

LOL had to post a pic..

yeah bro I second both opinions posted.....bad inner joint on the axle.. ....or one of your ball joints went bad.....

Does your car sag or anything on one front corner at all???

I Had that same clicking noise when I was turning sharp corners. It turned out to be the ball joint (as said by hondasport2000).

Check the play in the wheel, and the ball joints. Make sure all your suspension bolts are tight too.
