I personally wash it every 2 weeks, b/c i never drive it in the rain. even though its not driven in the rain, all the dust from the regular driving (and pollen) makes me wash it anyways. i know some people that wash it like every other day, can this be bad for the paint? i think its overkill.

 

I doubt washing that much is bad for the paint, but certainly hard on the wax. I was mine about once ever week and a half. Except if its horribly dirty or one of the damn pine trees drops sap on it. That **** takes paint off like nothing else.

Once a week or so. But I always have a layer of wax or so. Haven't had the S that long (maybe 2-3 weeks) and I have 2 layers of wax already.

In all honesty, it depends on how you wash your car. If your car is pretty dirty and you don't have a seperate bucket to cleanse the wash mitt after you wipe down a certain area, you'll simply keep scratching the paint by the dirt that gets stuck in the wash mitt.

 

when ever it gets dirty. I dont wash it much and it doesnt get the morning condensation and get dirty like the teg cause its garaged.

 

Depends how busy I am. I try to shoot for once a week, but lately it's been once every two weeks.

I don't believe that you'll hurt the paint at all as long as you keep a decent coat of wax/polish on the car.

I've had mine since may; I believe it has upwards of 10 coats of zaino on it at this point.

that's for sure...in the past i tried to give it a car wash every two weeks and a wax once a month...but lately it's been a car wash maybe every month and a wax who knows when

 

I wash my s2(blk) once a week and wax once a month.....Haven't had a problem yet

also i think it would depend on what color you have too. dirt is real easy to notice on black cars compared to white

 

I have a black S2000 - so I know what you mean about certain colors being harder to keep clean than others. When I got it a couple of years ago, I washed and waxed it once a week or so. Now it's a wash about every month. As for a full waxing, my younger brother does that for me every few months in return for letting him drive it a while.

yea my blck teg gets more washing than my s2k cause the dirt is easier to notice on a black car.

 

Yeah, Ill never buy another black car, one, its hot as hell, two, its filthy, three, if you ever have it repainted it usually sucks. Silver ownz.

I, on the other hand, have a hard time buying anything BUT black... It's a pain, but MAN she looks good when she's clean! (The black Tahoe looks tight too - dirty or clean )

(BTW, I don't let just anyone wash it - my brother probably does a better job than I would myself...)

 

i always buy black but a white s2k with red interior is hard to pass up
