true, but i think it'd be better if i bring in the paint because i heard that maaco buy their paint by the barrel or something..or some big case....and the quality of it is really shitty...because the clear coat is integrated...so that's why i was wondering if i could give them my paint and they spray it for me...maybe someone here knows...for sure...thanks

they use single stage paint, the shittest quality possible. just remember though, if you use a base coat and clear coat it'll be at least twice as much labor, which means double the price.

civicdxtyper is exactly right.
By the time you add up just the labor cost from them, you could have it painted by a 'real' shop. Especially if you're gonna do all the prep work AND buy the paint...screw maaco!

very true! earl schieb and maaco both uses single stage paint which means that the color and clear is mixed together instead of other paint which requires a base coat then the clear.
i wouldnt trust them painting my car. some on here might be local and probably paint it for a fraction.
