Cause I'm looking at rims for my Accord which has 4X114.3 rims stock. But I'm seeing alot of auctions saying that 4X100 will fit on Accords too. I'm wondering what does the 114.3 stand for... rim width?

the distance between the center(right?) of the stud,

*100*
1 hud 1
0 hud0
0 hud0
*100*

100 is common for compact car like civic, miata, etc

114.3 is for bigger car like prelude, accord, altima

the X4 in 114.3 x4 is the number of stud

there's a good diagram showing how 4,5,6 studs measurement on the summit racing catalog

it's the distance between each stud.

Close, it's the distance between each stud center.
Simply put, it's the diameter in which the center of the stud sits on.

it's the distance between the centers of opposite studs, that is to say you measure that distance diagonally. same deal with any car, you measure diagonally. and if you don't know the conversion, the 114.3 is in mm, and there are 25.4 mm/inch, so 4.5 inches.

not all 90+ accords are 4x114.3, some are 5x114.3 (v6 models, and some 4 bangers) 89 and down are 4x100. and 4x100 wheels will only fit 4x100 bolt patterns, ud be buying a lot of worthless metal for your accord if you buy 4x100 wheels.
