Default wut's engine head gasket for?

wut's the function of the engine haed gasket?
it increase the compression, so it will make more power?

if so, then which gasket is the best?

You don't need one.. just use a sheet of foil, it'll bump your compression even more.

He's joking. The headgasket prevents coolant out from the oil and keeps oil from leaking.

and it also plays a roll on keeping the pressure in the cylinders from leaking out as well

Your engine already has a head gasket, and it's function is the same as any other gasket - to create a seal between two surfaces (in this case, the block and the head).

There are companies that manufacture thinner head gaskets that do increase compression, and thus make more power. Basically, Spoon and Mugen are the two most commonly used thinner gaskets, with the majority of people (at least from my observations) using the Mugen piece. We installed one on my brother's engine, and have had no problems with it.

same here ! some people are mean as hell here on H-T, u learn it by asking, unless you know all this when u were borned.
