Car Guys VIR-F paddock pictures
Nice event with loads of sun.
Temps. = mid to upper 60's on Sat. and upper 60's to low 70's on Sun.
I had a wonderful student (Tom) with a new 50th anniversary yellow C5 with some goodies on it.
335's on the rear and 'some' power mods under the hood. (it had the Z51 suspension I think)
He learned a bunch and had a blast in his new car (~10,000 miles).
I had fun (last event of the year for me) and got lots of seat time (had ~93 miles on my car before lunch on Sat.!!!!!)
O-man was there helping a very fast EVO8 driver.
My fun ended mid day Sunday when some non-driving, POS, jack *** decided to toss a rock up and shatter my windshield.
(pavement is where you are suppose to drive correct?)
I did have to buy some extra parts in town Sat. night.
(not to shabby for going thru two sets of track pads)
914-6 joy.
Another XJ200 showed up for some track time. (there were two there this weekend)
PIMP *** Alpine
New RUF (drool)
The suspension on the RUF
Command center of the RUF
Nice looking 944T (hard top) (the wheels have pearl paint) (I think the car has a history) (was washed before it was loaded
)
8V mess
ACR mess
V8 mess
They went into town to buy some parts.
German type R

Type R line up.
The cleanest 88 CRX Si in the world! (10,600 miles)

price you pay to play, you see me calling Don a "non-driving, POS, jack *** " when his car elevated a stone into my windshield last event??
when your 2 feet off the bumper of a kar moving at 115 mph, anything can happen.

Anything can happen that is a given...
But when you are holding me up (not letting me pass (aka. I was faster)) and driving off of the track surface trying to get out of my way... the chances of kicking up rocks/dust/cones is greatly increased.

It was very nice seeing such machines being 'used'.

It was quite nice... no sunroof = load of head room... it was also washed before leaving.
I saw the owner removing the muffler delete pipes and installing mufflers for the drive home.

The current owner purchased it from a friend.
The car has some mods but he said he would be putting it back to stock (he has all stock pieces).
mods:
-front and rear sway bars
-front strut brace
-wheels (the original wheels have the OE tires)
-steering wheel
-muffler
It had the a/c added at the dealer (when new) and has never been driven in the rain.

115 is for ******...
if you would have gotten your P05 0ddessy out of the fawkin way we could have been going at least 10mph faster than that.

God, whats wrong with that owner, that car should be in a Museum not at the track, however, its good to see he's at the track rather than some car show
