Default Clutch, FlyWheel, Axles..

My outer cv boot is destroyed. the car has 88,000 miles and been Auto-Xed alot in the past 2 years. Clutch is on its way out also..

I need to know what setup you guys are using so i have an idea on what to order..
The car is a daily driver..Its a 98 civic DX

Ive been told about Raxles so i think i have that covered, I need nothing more than a stage 1 clutch.

Axles?

Hell any old rebuilt axle from NAPA or Auto Zone will be fine, and they have a lifetime warranty. IMO there's no need for some expensive axles that you have to order when local stores carry perfectly good replacements.

I run NAPA axles in my B18C5 hatchback and if they break or the boot even gets torn, they are free to replace.

Clutch?

Stay away from Clutch Masters IMO. They've been known to have the springs pop out of the clutch disc well before the disc surface even wears out.

If you're on a budget I'd say get a stock Daikin type replacement which is actually an Exedy stock disk. You can get it from World Pac or Service and Value Experts (S.A.V.E) for pretty damn cheap.

If you don't mind coining up for a clutch, then I recommend ACT over anyone else. I'd say the heavy duty pressure plate with the modified street disc would take anything you can dish out.

I could not agree more with this post. I run NAPA axles on my boosted C1 swap and I have no problems. They were $120/pr + cores and have a lifetime, free replacement warranty. I can go to the track, snap one and be back on the road that day (if I have a ride to NAPA ).

I also run the ACT XTSS pp/clutch and love it. It's harsh and has a stiff feeling to it, but it makes for much more control. I used a CM clutch a while back and it was ****! I do run the CM 7.5lb flywheel though.

hih man

I'm running the ACT HDSS, great clutch/pressure plate combo. I also am running the napa special on axles. they've already paid for themselves.

No, I'm usimng 1994-2001 B series axles from Napa right now because they are free replacement.

When I first did the swap I used the stock 1998 ITR intermediate shaft and axles.

If you're looking for axles any 1994-2001 Integra ones will do. Ask for non-ABS if they are cheaper, but if you have to get ABS ones don't worry, they are the same except they have a ring for the ABS speed sensors on the ends - they work the same.
