Default Any Turbo-junkies want to give their opinions to a newb? :)

Ok so here's my z6 setup that I'm planning on:

2.5" piping
Garett t3/t04 with .58 a/r, 38 mm tial wastegate
440 injectors
s200 turbo version
JE Pistons
Forged connecting rods -- need recommendation
colder spark plugs -- need recommendation
stronger head gaskets -- need recommendation
Love fab turbo manifold
Quaife LSD
ACT Stage III clutch
Fidanza 12 lb flywheel

Am I going overboard on some of these pieces? I.E. Am I spending too much on performance gains that won't be had?

I'm running the NGK V-power plugs (1 step colder) and they work good for my application. I am only running 8psi on a Td04h-15g kit and they may not work as good for you. What HP numbers are you planning for??

Im not sure about the rods (still on stock rods) but I would not suggest the ls rods. By the time you get the work done (having them shotpeened and made to fit) you will have spent just as much as aftermarket rods. I don't think at 15 psi you need a different headgasket. You can just copper spray the OEM one or get a Cometic if you really feel the need for a new headgasket. You definately also want to add a BOV to this list. I run the TiAL Bov and like it a lot. Seems like a pretty reasonable list to me. Getting the block sleeved is going to be what costs a ton. I got my whole setup done for under 2500 dollars brand new. Another part you will want to upgrade is your fuel pump. 190lhr is good to like 300 and the 255lhr is good to over 400 hp.

Eagle Rods, Factory headgasket - only get a copper one if you get your sleeves O-ringed, otherewise, factory is fine. A properly tuned engine wont blow the headgasket on most applications. Look into a Kevlar Clutch from Action Clutches...they would be a little less prone to destroying your flywheel as the ACT stage3 may be do to the harsh ceramic materials on their pucked disks.
