as the topic says my xhaust hits my shifter and rattles all the time. any way to fix this.

 

modify your exhaust... did you just get a short shifter ? they normally come with a warning about your problem...

 

i have a short shifter, no problems, i guess every car is different

 

my shifter hits my exhaust too
extend the hangers just past it to fix it
i got to do it sometime
just cant find the time

 

yea longer hangers would fix it, i dont see any other way of fixing that

 

I used to have the same problem but I would only hear it before the exhaust got warm and heated up the hangers a bit.

It didn't bother me that much so I didn't do anything about it.

Oh, I guess it went away when I switched shifters. It only hit the exhaust when I had Skunk2, now I have DC and it never hits..

IMO it's not worth the cost of redoing your hangers unless you can do it yourself.

 

same here it rattles but it doesnt hit anything around it but, everytime i hold the shift **** it shakes its gettin to me too. never fixed it thinking the exhaust is too loud thats why im assuming it does that.
