Default Quad throttle bodies on ZC...what numbers can i expect ?

HI - just a quick question - as since my Si civic ( in oz, with a ZC spec enigne)
has been just written off by a van from behind...i have considered using ( becoz of originality and lack of funds) usign my existing engine, plus parts form the car upon a fresh shell , and a 4 throttle style setup...will be run ALLMTR , wil full interior strip , pull out all teh weight i can etc...

I realise that a 4 throttle setup does make more power - but at what cost and what level compared to stock ???

( BTW 130 hp stock)

I think it woudl be a unique and cheaper alternative to sticking a totally new engine in wit vtekk or whatever...

Thoughts ???

my guess is 15whp at most and at top rpms only.... but with excellent tuning you may gain across the rev-range.
itb's breathe better and usually that is the only thing shown on a dyno... at higher rpms too.
you can get faster throttle rtesponse from itb's but tuning is the key. and even with hondata or aem ems they seem to be a pisser... with non-honda-ecu setups you can do better but lose streetability.

i have a TWM ITB manifold on my h22 and you absolutely need to get a stand alone to run it correctly. i use AEM PMS. tuning is a MF. i have been in a type r with the same set up and it ran fine with a fields vtec controller some how, but i still dont know how. my car is 100% driveable but as a pretty penny and mine still isnt running right hp wise. the manifold alone is big money like $2400 big. i dont even know if any one makes a manifold for ZC or single cams. best bet is to run a b16 swap. just as fast if not faster and a whole lot more potential.

i'm almost done making ITB's for my zc. i just put a milled/PP/3 angle vavle job head on, cometic headgasket, and custom exospeed stage 2 cams in w/srr cam gears and it rips right now, cant wait to get the ITB's on. i'm using a setup from a cbr 954 motorcycle and making a custom manifold. should be on in a month. i'm gonnna be running ghettodyne for managment. according to the compression calculator, my car now has 10.6:1 instead of 9.6 i believe. big difference on the top end already.
