offset and wheel replacement
I'm not the person to ask really but since I'm the first to come across.. Offset is how far left/right the wheel is I do believe.. And deal with buying wheels? As long as you get the right offset you should be fine.. or you could get wheel spacers [I think that's what they're called]

that link has a lot of stuff about wheels in general.... offset, lug torquing, etc ,etc
not sure what exactly you want to know, but other than offset, the other main thing you should know is matching tire size so that your new wheels have about the same overall radius as your old ones

Offset: The distance from the vertical centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface where it bolts to the hub. Choosing an offset with a lower value than stock will push the rims out, higher will bring them in. Realize that offset is relative to the rim width (a 7" rim with stock offset will still stick out further than the stock wheel). I don't know Si offsets, but on my Civic, my OZs have 8mm (+37 vs +45 stock) less offset than stock, are 1" wider and they still fit in the wheelwells without hanging out.
