Default obd1 h23a non-vtec

would an h22a vtec ecu make a non-vtec h23a run faster?? im just curious..thanks

probably due to less fuel, ut as soon as you hit 4900 rpms, VTEC tries to engage and the ecu realizes you have no VTEC solenoid VTM or anything you'll blow engine codes and be in safe mode, which will make you really slow.

some stupid kid was lipping about his LS integra saying a gsr ecu made it faster. then he was saying i should get a h22a ecu for my h23..i wasnt about to beleive him so i had to ask....lol now i can go shut him up

It's been debated that a 94-95 LS ECU will make the H23 faster because it has more agressive ignition maps.

agressive ignition maps? Well it has way less fuel that's for sure...both vehicles run 240cc injectors...an LS ecu would be really lean on an H23 I would think...like really bad.

It's not injecting a certain amount of fuel, just opening the injectors for a certain amount of time. The bigger H23 injectors open for the same amount of time as the LS ones provides more fuel. Then consider an increase in fuel press with an aftermarket press regulator. You're not swapping injectors and the computer can't tell what size the injectors are.
