Default Best and Safest fuel treatment for ITR ??

i've used the Redline fuel treatment, but I think it's a little on the weak side.

i've heard good things about the new Chevron Techron stuff.

any input is greatly appreciated!

Neutra 131

I just starting using this stuff after reading about it on bobistheoilguy.com Its a good fuel treatment that can also be used in your oil.

The best place to purchase 131 in smaller guantities from is Tim Mills (800-737-1747). I purchased 2 gallons of 131 at about $13/gallon. The recommeded dosage for 131 is:
1) 1 oz 131/ 1 gal gas for the first couple of tanks.
2) For the maintenance doses, 1 oz per 3-4 gallons of gas

I've also used Techron Concentrate in the past and have been happy with the results. But I switched to 131 because its cheaper and I only use Chevron gas, so it already has Techron.

meh. that stuff is all junk if you ask me. It will make u run rich which could kill your catalytic converter and cause an array of problems especially with obd2 systems. Just run 91 or better all the time and your fuel system will stay clean anyway.

the reason i'm looking for fuel treatment is that i think my car is running crappy, especially in VTEC.

i also know the previous owner only ran 87 octane, so i want the best stuff to clean her out.

I run Chevron Techron concentrate, but I don't really notice a difference. (maybe because I keep the car in good running order? )

But, if you're car is running funny, then why don't you test out a few things? Such as injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor, and other regular maintenace item. Maybe your injectors aren't working up to its potential. But, so many things could cause lack in performance. How many miles does it have??

Thats no good. Have you done a compression check on it?
I would think that would cause stuff to get hairline cracks...

magic fluids other than what you're supposed to have in your car don't work.. and usually make things worse..
