i bought an 88 4 door for 300. the car leaked coolant from the water pump area and overheated. i changed the water pump and timing belt and it doesnt over heat or leak coolant anymore. there is another problem. When i try to fill the coolant up and bleed it i get never ending bubles from the radiator. also cylinder #3 isnt firing. it has spark but no fire. i am assuming that the bubles in the radiator are coming from cylinder #3. the oil looks fine, not milky. but the coolant looks like ****. its all rusted and orange. is it possible that the problem is somewhere else? warped head? or is it the head gasket for sure?

 

very possible you got a warped head or deck..
pull off the #3 spark plug and take a wiff...

 

what am i smellin for? coolant? the wierd thing is that i dont have any coolant smoke out of the tailpipe

 

are you losing coolant?..its gotta be the head gasket,its probably leaking into that cylinder

 

smell for coolant, or water..
if you smell roses I'll be right over
