my brother's 96 civic sedan got stolen last nite. we were ready to leave home when we stepped out into the parking lot of breakeres/playdrome when we noticed his car was gone. if anyone round jersey/pennsylvania sees a green 4dr civic it has a black passenger side fender...it had big white "forsale" writing on the back windshield (prob washed off now by thiefs) yellow H emblem passenger side left door also has black damage "redone" and is noticeable as repaired...if anyone has any information plz post thx but i doubt we will see this car again...he is planning on getting another car now from ins. $$ wat u guyz think? hybrid hatch im telling him but he wants a hybrid coupe

 

that sucks....if only civics weren't so easy to steal

 

If you have a ride you really care about, you'll take the proper precautions to make sure it's safe. First thing I did when I purchased my car was to fit an alarm with twin immobiliser, put locknuts on the wheels (yes, 4 different sets, heheh), put solex locks on doors and hatch, and when parking it anywhere out of sight, putting a steering wheel lock on. A cleverly placed kill switch is also effective to a limited extent.

In the south american region and Mexico they use these locks but they are an EYE sore and I can show you how easly they can come out.
