Default My '96 Black Civic Hatchback was stolen yesterday (SoCal)...

My car was stolen yesterday between the times of 1pm - 3pm in Fullerton, in the Cal State Fullerton parking lot. It is a 1996 black Honda Civic hatchback, and looks a little beat up. The rear bumper's paint is chipping off on the passenger side corner and the two fenders have small dings and dents. It has black housing headlights and is lowered 1.75". The car also has 17" 5Zigen hyperblack wheels.
The front license plate is also cracked.

Here is a picture of the car...

If anyone happens to spot the car, please email me at TILINFINITY@GMAIL.COM. I could not afford the full coverage insurance, so I only have liability. I can't afford another car right now so I have to find my car. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks. I hope I find it too - otherwise I will have to bum rides!

One detail I forgot to mention is that the front license plate is cracked.

Thanks for your support guys.

This is actually the 4th time my car was broken into. The first time was in the early evening, about 6pm, the second and third time was late at night, and this time they did it in broad daylight! The previous 3 times they failed in stealing my car - I'm guessing because of my kill switch?? I replaced my ignition twice and my driver side door key hole got so jacked up that the key would not go in. The ironic thing is that I just got a new alarm not too long ago.

when my car got stolen the first question the officer asked me was: "did you have any work done to this car lately at any shop...anything from alarm work to an oil change?"

sad thing is a lot of people in the business, according to this officer, copy keys and have you information from the invoices then follow you and take your car...

ya thats very common!!!! thats why i dont hardly ever take my car for any work!!!!
only thing ive ever had done to my vehicles is the realy hardstuff cannt do, like tint and any hard eletrical problems and when i do im thier to watch!

hope ya find it in one piece. but most likely those rims are gone already!!!! hopefully thats all they realy take...just depends what they wanted!

i saw friends civic get stolen and striped like a **** and he only had liability as well
bastards even took his spark plug wires! im shocked they didnt take the motor!
just shows me i realy need to buy an alarm for mine!
but at home i park in the garage so thats at least a plus. but if they break into my garage or the doors open they wil ljust turn the key and drive it away.LOL i never take the keys out at home.

just why full coverage is so important!

This is why I also put my car back to stock whenever I take it anywhere. I don't take any chances. I also cover the VIN, right down my mileage (so I can tell if they drove it more than was needed) and I'll also go there without plates.

well, if someone tried breaking in so many times.....wouldn't it be wise to invest in a alarm, maybe lojack, maybefull coverage insurance, or heck sell the car. I do feel bad for you....but jeez you make yourself such an easy target.
