Default Engine stand/cherry picker reccommendations

I wasn't really sure where to put this except tech or GDD, but figured here would be best since this is where I post most and since it'll be an R motor that I'll need it for anyhow..

Basically, any rec's on engine stands and or cherry pickers? Need a stand to put the motor on, to store, transport, and work on. Cherry picker would be nice for easier putting in and removing from the engine bay.. If one thing does both, even better.. I've never bought one of these before so I thought I'd get input..

Thanks!

I have a "picker" in the Springfield VA area that can be used if you can come down and pick it up some weekend.

It's at a friends that just finished installing his third motor in his 7-TT.
Plus, I've got an engine stand back in Youngstown, OH ... just inside Ohio from BeavRun (or is it Beaver Run)? LOL!

Frankly, I have no idea. Sorry.
Picked them up from a "garage sale" years ago and never used them myself.

Mark, Jon Howard has one that he let Jeff use when he was doing his motor. Jon is always willing to let people borrow it and jeff has a engine stand I am sure u could borrow.

I got my engine stand at HF for 40 bux, luckily, I actually have one within 10 miles from me. Never used their lifts, but have heard they work fine.

And to tell you the truth, I think they are all the same anyway.

yeah.. i'm ordering the HF stand as we speak.. i'd rather not buy a picker if I can avoid it.. at least not a new one.. more $$ than I was willing to spend, but I guess I need SOMETHING..
