Default Mini-me project

Hey guys This is my first post in this forum... I may be getting an extra D16A6 block for my mini-me and figured I would build up the bottom end a bit while it is loose... Anyway... I am looking at a CR of about 10.5:1 with out Doing anything to the bottom end... My question is... What pistons would be best for this setup? I am thinking of .25 oversized but I dont want to push the CR too much higher... Any suggestions?

You contradicted yourself...and it all depends. What head are you using? P29 D16A1 Pistons are great, but they will put ur compression into the 12's. Your pistons are the best I hear for a D16 mini me. Here...I got two links for ya...

Well, if you are interested in making your D16A6 worth something without doing a Mini-Me, I would go with .25 overbore P29 pistons, Exospeed cam (or something comparable), and a nice header and i bet that will be much quicker than a mini-me setup. My friend has an 89 Si hatch with D16A6 motor (stock motor for that car) with standard size P29 pistons and an HKS Sport exhaust and thats IT. when him and my other friend with a 91 CRX Si with B16 swap race, they are almost even... The D16A6, when done right, is a pretty good motor.

I wasnt contradicting my self, I was giving an example of my set up with out bottom end work, so You guys could get a feel for what I am going for... I wanted to know what pistons in addition to this will keep my CR around 11 or 11.5:1
