check the thing that is in common with the clock and the radio... the fuse. i think that 1 is under the hood.

it's going to be your constant wire most likely... unless you have done like some people and hooked your ground to the Illum wire. If you do, it will work fine and remember the stations correctly until you have your lights on.. and then the radio won't function at all

my radio wouldn't even turn on if it didn't have the proper constant wire in, but that's worth a check. that and the fuse. what everyone else said

I'll bet you that the radio's constant Yellow and accessory Red wire are twisted together and hooked up to the vehicle's accessory output wire.

Yup. If not, try switching your two positive wires. one is 12v constant (memory) the other is 12v Ignition (only on when key is on).

What positive wires......12v constant is yellow? n 12v ignition is what color?

n now my radio won't even turn on if I dont have the light on....not all the way, just so that the bumper lights are on n not the headlights.....if i turn it off....the radio turns off too. This sux.......need help

ok, either you connected a power wire to the Illumination, or your ground isn't connected to the correct wire (maybe to the dimmer). Just connect the black ground wire to a bolt in the dash area. Then you'll know what you're left with. My guess is you incorrectly connected the red accessory wire.
