what to use to clean out a valve cover?

i took off my valve cover to my B18a1. and i wanted to know what i could use to clean off all the oil(on the inside of the cover)?
and
what can i use to take off the rest of the paint?

use any kind of degreaser to clean da oil and paint remover for the paint on da vavle cover.

Brake cleaner. (For the oil).

Cheap and affective.

You may want to remove all rubber gaskets though.
