Default Finally... thank God, my turbo is done...

Man I'm so happy
After a long time waiting for parts, money, materials, etc. I finally got the turbo in the car, and is running great.

I'm only boosting 8lbs. but plans are to go up to 11lbs soon...

The car runs great(I definitely need better tires) and the motor's doing great.

Thanks to everyone for the help and taking the time to answer some of my questions, the help is appreciated!

I know the car will start giving me some problems(it always happens) so I'll definitely be here asking more ?'s

set up:
ZC motor
SRP pistons(9:5.1)
Eagle rods
ARP head studs
balanced/clean/blah blah blah...

Centerforce clutch
OEM flywheel(shaved some pounds...)

14B turbo/HF mani.
"www.johnnyracecar.com" intercooler
custom tubing

450cc injector
DSM fuel pump
AFC 2 hack

Excellent, thats my future setup without the rods and such inner engine replacements, also will probably be pushing 8lbs, how does it pull?

Someone a while back had tuned the crap out of his ZC/turbo and was pulling about 190-200hp from 8lbs

how's the engagement point, does it begin to spool around 2k rpm?

awesome dude.........

im starting to piece together a kit for myself...... ive been eyeing a t-25/28 on ebay with a t4 flange......... just waiting to sell some stuff.

my zc is not built so im only going to boost to 7lbs........... as for fuel management im doing the same with the 440's and the afc.........

do you think the stock fuel pump will hold up?? or would an inline msd pump be a better bet.....

lol, got loads of questions for you........ haha

I've been told that I can go to the junk yard and just get a turbo off a volvo. Is this true? I also want to go turbo also but I don't have the funds to get me there. Can I get a turbo from a volvo and get everything else such as intercooler, etc? If anyone knows, please confirm.

The car pulls great. I love the boost man!!!

It starts pulling aroung 3.4k all the way up to 6.7k
about the fuel, just get a DSM for about 95$(AutoZone/lifetime warranty) or get a Wlabro 255lb for about 110$+shipping.

I'll soon have the pics up, my DSL CD is fucked up and now I gotta wait for it. I'm posting from my job. or my girls house and I can't install the hardware on those computers...

Sorry!

Is not hard to use at all. Once you understand what you're doing, it's really easy to install/program.

I really think anybody with a decent amount of a brain can do it!
