Every advertisement shows versions of the cars for upgrades....never see the HX. Does anyone know suspension and brake what will work on the 00 HX?

 

any that work for an ex/dx will work for the hx as well all the suspension/brake components are the same on 6th gens

 

I have heard that the EX had bigger front brakes, ever hear of swapping or would a Teg's brakes be better?

 

The Ex brakes are a little bigger. The Hx brakes were made smaller to use the smaller 14" aluminum rims. Anyother civic brakes will not fit...except maybe those off the 5th gen Vx...but that thing had even smaller rims. 13"

The rest of the suspension is the same.

Ex exhuast parts will fit, but you will have to change the location of your cat. Plus any intakes for Ex's work on Hx's. Problem is all the basic mods won't make your car much faster....although when I bought an AEM CAI way back for my original motor my quarter mile times dropped by almost a half a second. But that was probably due to me being better at driving my car also.

An Ex tranny is also an EXCELLENT upgrade to an Hx. I swapped an Ex tranny onto my car and it was much faster all around. When completly on the throttle, and driving in traffic was much better.

 

so hx rims wont fit my crx with 91 ex brakes?

 

yes they will. 91 ex came with 14" wheels anyway. they were talking about 92 and up ex civics

 

I know 14" wheels fit- do the HX rims clear the calipers?
