Default "spiky" a/f

I'm using a Tech Edge prebuilt v1.5, and my a/f logs turn out very "spiky". Here is an example:

I'm not inclined to think that this is a problem with my TE (although I haven't ruled that out). I suspect that there may be a real problem (ignition?) causing my a/f to be so erratic, and was wondering if anyone had ideas as to what could cause this. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet. My spark plugs are brand new. My cap, rotor, and plug wires are the factory pieces with 45k miles on them. I'm not running an aftermarket ignition. I'm using an EFI PMS for tuning, and have a J&S hooked up, as well.

I'm looking for some intelligent responses.

i'll try to graph some ouputs from my TE 2.0 but from what i have logged on my palmpilot, it's a lot smoother than that. so yeah there's a good chance is not the wideband.
