Default Cam Question- big buildup- Will CTR cams work in my gsr. have stage 2's already

Ok I am finally in the last few stages on my moter buildup.. Specs
95 jdm Gsr Block
Resleeved- bored out to a 2.0
JE high comp pistons
Eagle rods
decked lid
balanced crank..
Now in my head right now i have all skunk2 valvetrain EXCEPT the valves
My question is I have Skunk 2 st 2 cams... I want to get rid of them
Someone offered me a trade of CTR cams.. will that fit and or be a wise choice.. i want something a little less agressive...
and of course i have all the bolt ons
any info would be appreciated.

why do you want something less agressive?

Skunk2 cams are about 650-700 bux. CTR cams are like 400 dollars.

your spending all the money out your motor, and you want some less agressive cams?! that doesn't make sense. if you wanted something less agressive, you shouldn't have bored your block and saved your money. but yes the ctr cams will work with your gsr.

tuning, or a lack of it probably caused the hole in your last block. keep the skunk cams. I have a built b16a, that used to have ctr cams, they were ok, but i changed over to skunk stage 2's, and tuned the car with my vafc and af gague, and the car pulls hard to 9700 rpm's. you will regret stepping down to the ctr's

Why put high compression pistons in your motor if your not going to take advantage of them? Keep the skunks.

Keep the S2 S2, you will appreciate them more in the long run.
