Default Who is copying who?

I just want to know, who made the equal length mani first, Lovefab or Full race? Is there some R&D behind their manifolds? I am interested in a manifold for an airconditioned 99 si. I am also curious if they both use the same materials in their manifolds? I swear the manifolds look very similar. Thanks!

definately seems to be a fire starter thread.

to each their own... manifolds design has not been exclusive to any one company... if any one company could prove their design is completely unique it would be patented.

nobody copied anybody. Kooks was one of the first to to use that design(if not THE first). Full Race then designed an awesome collector, and used PIPE instead of lil tubing.
I began making this manifold a year ago on my own for personal cars, and with mcmaster-carr being a primary supplier at the machine shop I was working for, I only used the 8 guage piping on my manifolds. Once I figured out the collectors, I went into business, and then learned that full-race was also making a similar manifold.
I have SEVERAL DIFFERENT designs, but the ram-horn style runners fits nicely in a wide variety of cars.
For AC, if you want the ram-horn style manifold, go with Full-Race. I have my own AC manifold(SideWinder), and I see no reason to produce an AC manifold(although I have done a few one-offs already) that uses that style.
H22 SideWinder:

IE, heres a custom(compressor toward the pass. side) H22 SST manifold for a customer:

So, no copying here bro, sorry!
