Turbo LS? and Stock LSD?
Alright, I actually have two questions. I am in the process of getting a B18B for my hatch. I have narrowed down my choices of turbo to the Precision SC50 and the SC32. My goal is 300whp, internally stock, daily driven, tuned by Hondata. So those of you with turbo LS's which would you recommend? I don't want to overkill my motor with too much turbo. And second, would the stock LSD from a honda trans, (JDM Type-R), hold up to that kind of power or should I invest in a Quaiffe?
Thanks,
Matt

I'm not familiar with the turbos, but 300whp on a stock internally B18b is a tad hard especially if you want a reliable daily driven car. 275whp is more realistic to me. Stock LSD should be able to do it.

Thanks for the responses guys. Alright, I know it will help if I get some CP 9:1 pistons and Crower rods, but what about the cylinder walls? Will they be able to handle 10-15psi without problems? I don't really want to re-sleeve it even though sending my block to Bensons is very tempting.

You should atleast invest in a SC61 that is a very good turbo and if you ever feel like going for more HP then you won't have to buy a new turbo. Yes the stock LSD is plenty fine for that.

There's alot of stock sleeved LS motors doing 15psi but they were all tuned. I remember st00pid on this forum threw 20psi at a stock LS motor and was running great for awhile with no problems.
SC61 !! Now I think that would be a little too much turbo for my plans. What size turbo's are most of the LS guys running? I don't want to get stuck with too small a turbo either.
Anyways, I've had people tell me in this post that 10-15psi is too much and I wont get 300whp out of it. But I've also seen a few people putting out damn good numbers with LS's.
