spoon ecu
i am just asking mayng, this whole thing is still up in the air until i get ahold of the block and tranny, but the reason i am thinking about going with the spoon ecu is because i have had VERY VERY bad luck with aftermarket parts on my car (not the cheap **** either), i always get fucked over one way or another, so i would rather use something as close to stock as possible (and a piggyback unit would not be that, although it would be very nice.....)......and i know the price difference, but i am curious about the program, i was leaning towards the mines VX-rom (another reprogrammed ECU) but i recently found out that they totally remove the rev limiter, no thanks to that......
what i heard is the spoon N1 ecu has the redline of 11000rpm, notice that's not the one they use on their old civic (ek something).
btw, if i wanna go with such a high rev, i will use power fc, since it's total standalone programmable ecu (unlike hondata), plug and play...you know that.
spoon ecu is awesome, but i dont think that's a good investment just for the higher redline.
