Default Which transmission for supercharger??

Ok, I've done searches and all I could find was references for turbo'd engines.
I have a 99 DX auto with a JR supercharger.
I want to swap the tranny for a manual.
Which one should I get? DX or EX?
I've read that DX would be best because I'd be in boost longer.
But with the supercharger there's no lag so all I have to do is stomp it and I'm in boost.
So would the shorter EX gearing be a better choice for me?
Better acceleration and still in boost?
Help! I need to get rid of my slushbox!!

Ex...shorter gearing will always equal quicker accelleration. Period.

Cool, that's what I thought.
Plus I'd have better acceleration even when not stomping it.
Anyone know where I can get a cheap JR MAP controller?

And would a manual DX tranny still be faster than an auto DX tranny?

this is just a thought, but you can always convert to cable tranny and use zc. gears are nice on those. i used to have on on my zc when i had my crx.

Even though the EX tranny is closest for SOHC, doesn't mean it's a quick tranny lol.

The EX tranny could never be too close

In 4 months when swap comes, I'll get to tear down the HX, including tranny.... Then try putting it back together....

Only way to learn...
