Default can you rechip an odb-0 ls ecu to run vtec

basically what i am askin is can i rechip a non vtec ecu to kick vtec on.

one method is to keep your pr4 base and insert the maps, then use an external trigger, like an msd rpm activated switch. there is also code that has been inserted to trigger vtec via one wire w/o the use of an external trigger, but i believe its pm6 based which should be ok to use. check here for details http://pgmfi.org/phorum/list.p...8&a=2
