ight...i just swapped a z6 into a my 93 dx....i checked tha codes and its givin me 3 21 22 41.. wich are 3=map sensor 21=vtec solenoid valve 22= vtec oil pressure switch and 41=primary oxygen sensor if any one has n e idea of what i should check that would help a whole shyt load...thanx guys..

 

seems to me that you didnt run the vtec wires. and probably have a broken or unplugged map sensor

 

there was a type r motor in tha car before this..so im pretty sure tha wires are already ran...but i'll to check them again..i aint too good wit that wiring stuff...

 

What harness are you using ?

 

use the map sensor plug on the firewall harness, NOT the Z6 engine harness.

Run the 2 VTEC wires from ECU,

plug in O2 sensor

im not sure what harness im usin...tha car was already ran for vtec when i got it... ight thanx for tha help guys..i'll post back later on n tell you whats up....

 

and I just got back monday morning from Staten Island.......geez.......could have stopped in......

 

damn i wish i would have posted this a lil earlier so you coulda stopped by...tha cars at my mothers house which is about 4 minutes flat from tha outerbridge crossing into staten island... oh well..shyt happens... n e ways.i checked tha codes again today after messin around wit tha map sensor...well.i still got tha code for tha map sendor..but tha code for tha vtec solenoid valve...i dint get that one earlier today..but about 20 mins ago..i forgot to take tha wire out of tha jumper..and tha codes came up again when i turned tha kay..and tha vtec solenoid valve code came up again.... this cars drivin me crazy..
