I'm trying to finish my lsvtec swap, but I'm a little stumped on some of the wiring. On the harness I bought (claims to be from obd1 integra), the map sensor wires don't match up. There's a red/yellow that was cut next to the IAT connector which I'm reading is MAP. The MAP sensor I have is throttle body mounted and has a 3 wire connector. No where in my look do I have 3 wires left. Is there a way to convert this?

Bump - Talked to one guy he said the two wires that were cut were for the purge solenoid, which I don't need, but I still have to figure out where to wire the MAP sensor to? Do I have to run wires to the ECU? There should be a spot in the wiring harness for the MAP sensor though shouldn't there be?

Is your civic a dx? If so then the map plug in the harness cannot be used. The dx map sensor wires/plug is part of the chassis harness not the engine harness. The map would be located on the firewall.

The person who sold you the harness may have also sold you a civic dx harness which again will not have a map plug built into it. I am willing to be you do have a sohc civic dx harness

Quite possible, yeah it is indeed a dx civic. The map sensor I had before the swap was mounted on the firewall, I didn't check the body harness that goes into the firewall. Even still, the connect styles are different, is it still going to be a 3 wire as to where I can splice the other style connector to it?
