my 93 eg has map sensor plug comin from in the car which one do i use?
hello
so my car has a map sensor plug comin from in the car. i was wondering which one do i use? i have a z6 sohc vtec W/ vtec wiring harness my car is non vtec. the vtec wiring has a map sensor plug on there also... this is confusing me. anyone here with a dx have map sensor plug comin from inside the car? help plz TIA.

are you sure that its a second map sensor wire? not just another plug that looks the same?
are the wire colors the same?

Some of the civics (like my wife's '93 dx) has the map sensor mounted on the fire wall and the plug from it is actually part of the main harness.
So if he swapped in a sohc vtec with the vtec wiring harness, he would have the plug on the engine harness and the plug from main harness.

yep.. when i use the one from the engine harness man my car runs like ****. but when i plug in the one in the firewall it runs fine. i didnt know that and thought my motor was messed up but it was cuz of the plug all along. totally rebuilt my motor for nothing. cuz it was running SUPER! rich.
