the lighter hoods tend to be the cheaper/weaker ones cuz they arent reinforced as well. for a street car i'd recommend vis or fiber images. it's worth a few extra pounds.

Why do you want the lightest?...is 1lb going to be worth it cracking and the edges spliiting years before a high quality carbon fiber hood?

I dont like my fiber image's hood its bowed a lil and i seen some spots where they tried to hide there mistakes with clearcoat... My MO on fiber images
Im going Seibon after winter

i've seen some vis hoods that don't have the reinforced frame under the hood. it's only along the edge. those seemed to be a little lighter.
