the type r oil pump will work fine on any b series motor. it's actually a good buy because it has a high flow gear in it.

Enough said on the subject, the first two to three posts were enough. The question asked could have been answered by itself, Type R oil pump on a GSR block, hmmmmmmmmmm an exact fit higher flow oil pump (B-series VTEC) on a GSR block(B-series VTEC)?hint, hint..... You make the call, and do a search next time you may just answer your question befor resorting to posting.

Hey Gerard....

Calm your *** down dude....if you knew so much than you should have said something before....AND it is NOT a direct fit since you have to buy the 01 R timing cover because the outline of the pump is different than a GSR pump.....chill man and stop whining.

Are you 100% sure about that timing cover thing ? I put an ITR oil pump on my 98 LS and my plastic covers went on just fine.

96+ Integras have a CFK sensor that 94-95 don't have. So, the covers are different.

so 96 + oil pump from a gsr or itr pump are interchangable for and ls with no mods to the oil pump does the same hold true for the crv fuel pump and water pump i went to advanced auto parts and they were the same part number for the fuel pump they look identical to i ask because the acura parts cost more than the honda ones

^ Correct.....or you could modify the 94-95 and make it fit.

GSR/SI/Type-R oil pumps are the same, will fit LS and CRV.

LS and CRV water pumps are the same, different from the VTEC pumps.

The fuel pump doesn't matter, hell a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 AWD twin-turbo fuel pump fits........it's all about how much flow you need.
